Good evening!  Wow what a day!  ELM Shop-a-thon 10-2, drive the sitter home (Destiny you are so AWESOME), back home to meet hubby, off to Komoka for the London Skating club Scrap-a-thon, and now home sweet home!  I have to say thank you to everyone who came out to both events, the whole day was a great success.  I met so many great people and hope to scrapbook/card make with them all!  Today's post is one of the cards I sold at the ELM centre today.  It uses a retired set "A Kind Word" but there is one similar in the catalogue with 2 girls that is equally cute.  Colours are the new "In Colours" Poppy parade, with a little Peach Parfait and Soft Suede, ribbon is the new Croched lace - LOVE it!  Thank you everyone for stopping by today...and if you are viewing this tmw, check out my sight to view the new mini and to see some amazing scrapbook deals for the month of May!  http://www.stampaholicsteph.stampinup.net/

London Skating Club

Good evening everyone!  Hope your week is going well.  A little busy around here.  Aaron is wrapping up the Glencoe Skating Club pics and is heading into the ELM Graduation pics, so he's been pretty busy, and to add to that I will be a bachelorette for 2 weeks!  Yikes!  The bright side is I will have lots of crafting time (I hope!)  Tonight's post is of the card I will be doing for a make'n'take for the London Skating Club scrap-a-thon in Komoka this weekend.  I think it will be an exciting day, I am looking forward to spending the afternoon with women who share my addiction!  Colours are Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip and Naturals White.  Really simple card but thought most could use a Mothers Day card!  Hope you have a great night and thanks for stopping by!  Steph

Mother's Day Cards

Hannah's Cards

Elegant Soiree Meets Awash with Flowers

Hello All!  Glad you could pop by today.  If you are a Bride from the Sarnia show, welcome to my site.  I hope you will find some ideas and inspiration.  My Invite Page is still under construction, and I hope to have it finished soon!  In the mean time, I am working on planning an Invitation workshop, if you are interested please e-mail me so I can keep you posted with details and the date.  At the workshop you will learn how to make 3 wedding invitations, all different sizes and design.  You will make and take your 3 invites home with you along with printed instructions and a supply list so that you can make your own.

 As promised here is my b-day card I made for my lil sis.  I am starting a new tradition when I send my cards out.  I am writing on a 4x5.25" of white paper and inserting it into the card so that the person receiving the card may re-use it PLUS they can tuck away the white paper and save space (if you;re like me and saves all the cards you receive!)  So today's card uses the Elegant Soiree DSP (I think my new fav) and the Awash with Flowers set.  I used Marina Mist and Baja Breeze to rock'n' roll the flowers on.  Colours are soft suede, Naturals white and then the Elegant Soiree DSP.  Tied on some ribbon and voila!  Thanks for stopping by today, Steph.

Easter Treats

Happy Snowy afternoon to all of you!  I am really hoping my girls won't be hunting for Easter eggs in this white stuff!  Hope you all had a good weekend...our was busy as usual, but good!  Today's post is a pic of the treat bags I handed out to the guests at Wallacetown and the brides in Sarnia.  They were super easy and a big hit.  I used the small treat bags from Stampin'Up!, some raffia, mini eggs from Costco (gotta love Costco) and then made up these cute cards with MDS.  People were quite surprised when I told them I made the cards using our digital scrapbook program!  I must admit, I use MDS alot more for business resources than scrapbooking, but am hoping to soon use it more for the crafting purpose...just goes to show you how versatile it is!  Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Bugs and Kisses

Build a Petal stamp set and Punch

Hello all!  Hope your weekend is off to a good start.  I have a few minutes before I dive into prep for my shows this week and thought I would share this card with you.  Not sure if I have the stamp set and punch name right, but both are in the current mini which ends this month.  Colours are Concord Crush (my new fav. purple) Baja Breeze and Pear Pizzazz.  I learned the seam binding trick from a workshop at Heather Summers - what a great way to turn a little piece of ribbon into something a little more!  Hope you like!  Thanks for stopping by, Steph.

Awash with Flowers #2

Good evening all!  Just got finished birthday dinner for little sis - she turned the big 3-0-!  I'll post her card in the next couple days...for now here is the card we did last Sunday using the Awash with Flowers set.  The colours on the cards are inspired by Heather Summers... I saw a similar card and wanted to use my new In Colour DSP...so here it is!  I used the Rock'n'Roll technique which I think gives the flower much more colour.  Remember to always stamp on the light colour ink first!  You'll notice I used the new Four Frames set, which is a sneak peak set from the new catalogue coming in July.  I love this set paired with the Decorative Label punch! k, short post tonight - lots to do before the weekend! Thanks for stopping by!  Steph

Awash with Flowers

Hello!  Ok, so it's not Sunday - but seriously where does the time go???  Had a great workshop on Sunday...thank you Carol for inviting me to do a workshop at your home!  We made this page along with a card (which I will post tmw...I hope!)  Colours are Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, and Pumpkin Pie.  I bought this set as soon as it came out and haven't used it alot until now...must be the spring fever coming out!  Anyhow, hope you like, and thanks for stopping by!  Steph

Bugs and Kisses

Nature Walk

Hello!  So I finally broke down and bought this set, I had been humming and hahhhing about it for awhile and decided I needed it for our cottage weekend, (which was AMAZING!) and I'm so glad I did!  I really love how you can use it in so many ways.  Here's 2 samples, the first using the Elegant Soiree DSP and the second is the In Colour DSP available to hostesses.  I really love the combination of Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait - funny we've had the in colours for almost a year and I'm just getting into them!  Glad they're here for 2 years now instead of just 1!  If you like this set you'll want to order it before April 30!  Take care and thanks for stopping by!
