My Digital Studio Wall Art

Happy FRIDAY!  What a great couple of days I've had, busy but great!  Last night I did my 1st presentation at our downline meeting..I'm pretty sure I shook the whole time, but I got through it and everyone was thrilled with the tri shutter card (thanks mom for making this possible!)  I love our monthly meetings as they always re-inspire me...and so now today I finally am able to stroke something off my to-do list!  I made these 3 12x12 pages and am going to send them to Costco to be plaqued so I can mount them on my soon to be new hallway!  YEAH!  SO excited to get this done.  I love the first 2 but am not completely set on the pic of the 3rd, I really wanted something of Hannah and Kayla together, but of the million (and I'm probably not exaggerating) pics we have there are few of them together in the pic.  We'll be going to the sugar bush (which is where the other 2 pics were taken) in the near future so I just may have to switch the last pic out.  If you have MDS and are using it (cuz I know some of you aren't!) Downtown Grunge is a MUST  have kit!  I would have never thought to download it but Heather uses it alot so I thought I would try it...I love it!  It's so simple but great.  The small script (which you can't read, it's just decorative) is from the kit, along with the frame around the girls and the DSP in the background.  I took the opacity of the background paper and turned it down to 70 to make it a little lighter than the original so the pics stood out a little more.  If any of you are interested in learning more about MDS please e-mail me at stampaholicsteph@gmail.com...  I have some exciting new things coming up and will share in the VERY near future (like hopefully Monday!)  Thanks for stopping by and have a FANTASTIC weekend, we're off to Disney on Ice tmw - yay!!

Name Tags

Good evening!  Are you all ready for this cold damp weather to go away?  I know I am!  However, tonight I'm super excited (and nervous) all at the same time!  I've been asked to demo my Tri Shutter card that we did at Club night for our downline meeting tmw - WOW!  It really is an honour (although I did not come up with the idea, I just came up with the colours and embellishments) nonetheless, I am so happy to share with you all!  So I've been prepping and baking (need to bring a snack tmw too) and also we were given the task of designing our own name tags...what do you think?  It's a hybrid (MDS along with some traditional embellishments).  I added some Brights buttons and Espresso twine.  Just a quick project but wanted to share.  Hope you are all having a fantastic week!  Thanks for stopping by and take care! August MDS Calendar page

Good evening!  I had some play time and since my scrap room is in shambles I decided to spruce up my blog...needed some bright spring colours, what do you think?  And to go along with the MDS promo this month I thought I would post another calendar page!  Remember you can download MDS for a FREE 30 day trial - AWESOME!  If you were ever thinking of buying it but would like to try it first, now is your chance!  Today's page is another one from the Year to Remember kit - LOVE IT! I am working on a March MDS workshop and am so excited to get it wrapped up.  If you're interested e-mail me for details, it will be lots of fun!  Hope you're having a great night and thanks for stopping by :)  Steph

Club Night SAB Style with a Tri-Shutter Card

TGIF!  Off to the ENT with Kayla, then home for our new stand/fireplace to be delivered, clean and then it's Club night and I'm really excited!  We're making this Tri Shutter card that my cousin had e-mailed to me a cpl years ago and I never got around to making it...so tonight I gave it a shot and this is what I came up with.  I am pretty happy with the result.  To see the tutorial please click on the link CraftiBlog it's super easy!  I used mostly SAB products, the stamp set, DSP, brad and oval embossing folder, all SAB!  I added some butterfly embosslits and pearls along with a lolli (my first attempt!) and Voila!  Hope you like and hope you have a great Friday!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Steph

AHHHH! Clone please!

Ever wished there were 2 of you?  Let me tell you how my weekend went (briefly) - new tv delivered to be installed on the wall (whole purpose of new tv) cannot install on wall, insufficient studs - off to look at stands - all day event!  Home and kids to bed, now to watch new tv on temporary stand - AWFUL tv - LED and is not at all what I had imagined!  Sunday - off to go tv shopping - urgh!  Whole weekend spent in London!  Monday, DR appts for girls, Monday night is spent PLUNGING our toilet for 2 hours thanks to Hannah and a WHOLE roll of toilet paper!  Tuesday Valentines day, Wednesday Aaron's b-day, and now finally I'm at my PC!  WOW!  OK, so here are the Valentines that Kayla and I made (hannah had little interest).  We made 65 lollipops, and then later I made 9 chocolate bars for the teachers - whew!  Now I had to cheat a little which I don't normally do...I didn;t have enough glitter paper so I had to make a stop at the $$ store.  then I started to make the lion head and realized it was going to take months to glue 65 of these babies together...so what now? MDS!!! I made the lion heads using punches on MDS and then printed them on my home PC...then...I made little tags for the backs that said Happy Valentines Day Luv Hannah and Kayla, added some hearts to the tags and DONE!  So simple!  Hope you like and hope you all had a great Valentines day... I know I did, with beautiful flowers from hubby and a yummy lobster dinner at home - PERFECT!  Thanks for stopping by, and take care! Steph

MDS Pirate Card

HELLO!    I'm still here!  Been painting up a storm, and all though it's been a completely upside down last few days,,,it's totally worth it!  I LOVE my living room now and can't wait to finish it off with the final touches :)  So needless to say I haven't had time to craft much.  Tonight I am prepping for my Special Needs class tmw, one of my favourite classes to teach!  We're making Valentine pages and cards and I'll try and share them over the weekend.  So today's post is an MDS card I made up for Hannah's friend Owen.  It was a pirate themed party so I found a pirate J-peg and inserted it as a pic...did a little MDS and Voila! Quick and EASY!  THanks so much for stopping by...hoping to get back into the swing this weekend :)  Steph

Country Club #4

Here's the last of the 4 pages from the Scrappin kit...remember this is using just HALF of the kit, so you can easily make 8 pages using 1 kit - pretty inexpensive! The only thing added to this page that wasn't in the kit was some Deck the Halls buttons (clearance rack) Espresso bakers twine (3.95 for a roll that will last 6 months!, and a piece of Naturals white to mount the pic and DSP on.  If you're familiar with the SU catty, you'll notice this is CASED from the page where the kit is.  I loved the page and wanted to make a kit that was versatile for everyone in the Club...I think it worked :)  THanks for stopping by and have a great Wednesday!
