Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Everyone! So I totally cheated this year and went digital for my Christmas cards, and to be honest, I didn't even mail alot out! Gotta love e-mail and facebook! Hubby took the picture in our home studio...is it possible that it's harder to take pictures of your own children than others? After some coaxing for Kayla we finally caught one. This card literally took about 15 minutes to create (with children lingering!). Super easy and fun! On a side note, I was able to finish my teacher gifts and send them off just in time, I'll post them over the next cpl days. For now, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful time with your families! Steph

One teacher gift down, 8 to go!!
Ok so I know I'm crazy and such a procrastinator, but I'm really going to try and make 8 more gift sets. I was racking my brain trying to decide what I could get the teachers both at the daycare and Hannah's teacher at school, and then I thought, why not give them a set of handmade cards? Everyone loves handmade cards, plus I love giving things that are handmade, I think it means so much more, but that;s just me! So I whipped this set up in 2 hours, literally, designed both cards, cut the paper and packaged them in 2 hours - hoping the next 8 go a little quicker, but I'm happy with my end result! I used a set I was fortunate enough to find at the sale in Chatham last weekend (thank you Mary!) I had been eyeing this set for awhile in the catalogue but wasn't sure I would use it alot - well I LOVE it! It's so easy and I just love how you can make them as simple or detailed as you like. I chose to use chalk today as I find it super fast when you want to add a little colour. Well, gotta get making some more cards! Have a great weekend! Steph

Classmate gifts done!
What a beautiful day! Even if the sun wasn't out I'd be happy - cuz it's not snowing! (What a change from Sunday, I was loving the snow Sunday, now I've had enough!) So Tuesday the girls and I made little gifts for all the kids in Hannah's class, it's just a very simple and inexpensive - they're pencils with little Christmas toppers! We used the Merry Crittermas set (wish I would've bought this set sooner! You can order it up to January 3rd http://www.stampaholicsteph.stampinup.net/ to order online! The other one uses a retired set I picked up last month at a show in St.Thomas, it's called Moose You - it's quite cute, and although I try not to buy retired items, this one was too cute to pass up! I used the 1 3/8" cirlce punch, layered on the scallop circle punch and then layered again on the 1 3/4" circle punch. I then used glue dots to adhere them to the pencils, and voila! On the back it says Merry Christmas and some of them Hannah printed on, but alot of them mommy did! Hope you like and thanks for stopping by! Steph

Snow Fun!
Happy Monday everyone! So I had a little time to play last night, I would've been finishing off wedding albums but hubby had some last minute fixes to do...so I decided to scrap book our fun in the snow we had on Sunday! I was tempted to upload the Merry Christmas kit, but I decided to use what I already had instead...so the pages you see are done with everything that comes with the MDS disk. Awesome eh? I used Night of Navy Small polka dot paper, Snow flake punch, Snow burst stamp set, Curly label punch and embellished with Always Artichoke Ribbon and Baja Breeze and Whisper White brads...have I mentioned lately that I love MDS?? Enjoy the snow! We did :)

Still one down, 2 to go!
Well looks like it's our turn for the snow! I have to admit, I kinda like it as long as I don't have to travel.
So I must send another big THANK YOU to my mom, we went to a super awesome sale yesterday in Chatham where a fellow demo was selling off all her Stampin'Up items...yes it was better than Christmas (well almost!) So needless to say I spent the night organizing all my good deals and early Christmas presents (I know, I'm very spoiled!) So today I thought I would share one of the pages of the album I have finished. The picture is courtesy of hubby (you can visit his site http://www.digitalfootprints.webs.com/) . I really love My Digital Studio for Aaron's albums, it's a such a nice keepsake for the Bride and Groom. This layout is really simple, the background is Basic Black, insert the photo at the size you want, matt with White and then Drop Shadow. I added stamps from the Always Elegant set and the Together Forever set, I really love these for wedding albums. Well I hope you are all having a great weekend, thanks for stopping by! Steph

Too Cute not to Repost!!
Greeting All! Hope everyone is safe and sound. 3 snow days and still hardly any snow here in Glencoe...but happy to be home! You would think I would have lots of new projects with this bonus time off...well 2 more wedding albums to go, a sick little girl and busy little sister...so not so much creating happening around here :( However, with the weather so crappy for those around us, I wanted to post one of my favourite cards. This is another card I cased from Jackie Topa, she's so very talented...I had a great time re-making it and hope you do too!
Punches used are the Bulb punch, Modern Label, Wide and Small Oval, 1 3/4 circle and 1 3/8" circle punch, and heart to heart punch. For the inside I used my Circle Scissors to cut a 3" hole in the middle. If you would like help or have any questions about making this card send me an e-mail, I'd be happy to help! stampaholicsteph@gmail.com
Have a great night, stay safe, and thanks for stopping by!

Lovin' the Punhes!
Hello All! Well it was an awesome weekend, despite a small mishap involving my fridge and right hand, 2 hours at Newbury Emerg. and all I get is a bandaid! Thanks to Elaine and mom for fixing me up the following day, it's much better now!
Today's card is one we made a the Scrapbook day Saturday. I used the Lovely as a Tree set with Always Artichoke for the branches, and then Cherry Cobble and Old Olive for the Delightful Decorations. The greeting is stamped with Cherry Cobbler and then I used my Old Olive marker to colour in a bit of the decoration. The stamp set I used is called Word Play and I really love it! I used dimensionals to pop out the decorations once I punched them out. Hope you like and thanks for stopping by!

Feeling Festive!
Good evening all! So I'm feeling very festive tonight! I still have 12 sets of cards to cut but really wanted to spruce up my blog, about 5 minutes in MDS and then 2 hours with Blogger and voila! Hope you like! Today's card is my version of one I saw on Jackie Topa's site. It uses the Thoughts and Prayers set. Jackie chalked her background which looks beautiful, but I needed something a little more simple for my last Club night so I decided to use some Naturals Confetti paper instead of chalking. The Confetti paper has just enough of a fleck to it that it gives it character (hard to see on my pic, hubby is out of town so I'm left taking my pics and well, I must admit it's one thing he's better at!) I used Stampin'Write markers to colour the tree stamp and then stamped onto the Confetti paper. Then I stamped the greeting from the Scenic Season set using Early Espresso. I used scraps of White to make snow and then applied Dazzling Diamonds to the edges. Hope you like! Have a good night and thanks for stopping by!

It's a Small World!
Hello All! Well I had a wonderful weekend, time with the family at the parade, pizza and a Christmas movie last night, and today was the Eagle show and then London Club night! WOW!! Had a wonderful time at all places and to boot, at my London Club, ran into someone I went to school with in New Liskeard (way up north!) It's a small world!
Tonight's card is from the set Home for Christmas. I used Crumb Cake for the base and the DSP is left over from last year. The stamp is done with black Staz-on and them coloured using Stamp'n'Write markers. Add a little glitter to the trees and steps (hard to see but its there!) and it looks just like fresh snow! Hope you all had a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Snow Swirled
Good evening everyone...boy it's chilled off! Well I have to say it was like Christmas here this afternoon. My favourite man in brown (UPS) arrived with my new Greenhouse Gala Tote bag AND new paper cutter! Thank you mom for the early Christmas gift, my hands will thank you this week when I cut my 100 cards for Sunday's class! Today's card uses one of my favourite sets, Snow Swirled. Paper is Baja Breeze DSP from a couple years back, but you can use just about anything Baja Breeze. I embossed the tree using Versamark and Silver embossing powder. Remember when embossing you must use a heat gun, a hair dryer won't get hot enough, and also remember to use Emboss powder, there are many types of glitter out there and some are so fine you might mistake it for emboss powder and wonder why it's not working. The ribbon is one of my favourites as it's so versatile, Whisper White organza. Hope you like and as always if you have any questions, send me a line! Take care and thanks for stopping by! Steph

Polar Bears
Happy Saturday everyone! Looks like we're in for a gorgeous day. Today I'll be at the Glencoe Train Station for our 2nd annual Christmas Extravaganza. I'll be there with some our my good friends and reps from Pampered Chef, Epicure, Mary Kay, Bekadee bags, and Digital Footprints Photography. If you can come join us for a free coffee we'd love to see you!
Today's post is my version of a card I saw online (and I wish I had saved the site cuz I can't remember who's it was!) I used the Wide Oval punch for the head, and the 1 3/8 Circle for the other head. Noses are the Large Oval punch and then I used the 1" Circle to round them off. Ears are the 3/4' Circle punch and then tuck them in behind, and the arm is the Large Oval again. Eyes and ears are a standard hole punch. The greeting is from a hostess set from a couple years back, and I punched it out with the Large oval and matted with the Scallop Oval. Colours are Baja Breeze and Whisper White. I chalked the parts of the bear with Going Gray chalk, and then added a little Baja ribbon to finish it off. The snowflakes were stamped with flakes from the Christmas Punch set (hostess set from last year, but now i have the Northern Hearts set, so I would use that if you don't have the Christmas Punch set. Ok, well that seems like a lot, but it took very little time..and oh so cute don't you think!! Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out my site for an AMAZING Stampin'Up Deal! www.stampaholicsteph.stampinup.net

My new Cards...
Good evening all. Hope you were able to enjoy some of this wonderful weather today. Looks like we're in some luck for the long weekend. Today's post is my new promo card, it's not quite a business card or a flyer, so I call it a promo card! I used MDS (yes I do still use real paper !!) The paper is from the Sweet Pea download, and I also used embellishments from the Sweet Pea set. If anyone is missing Taken with Teal or the Sweet Pea paper, this is a great way to have it back! That;s the beauty of the MDS, nothing retires! As some of you know, I am planning on opening my home up in September to some crop times. Once I have Hannah's school schedule all in place I will post the crop dates. I am planning on offering an adult crop as well as a Mommy and Me crop. Stay tuned for details! Also, I will be doing another post over the weekend with a special offer for all of you out there, so check back in Monday evening for a treat! Have a good one and thanks for stopping by!

A present for you!
Good afternoon All! Hope you are all having a great weekend. We're still doing the finishing touches on the studio but we can see the light! At least I have somewhat of a working space back.
Have any of you purchased a set of blender pens? If so this is a little treat for you. I purchased my first set almost 2 years ago and I use them quite often. They're starting to get a little dry and I came across this homemade recipe to rejuvenate them...and it worked! So I am sharing it with all of you in the form of an MDS greeting card, totally created by myself (I didn't use one of their templates). I hope you find it useful, I will be enclosing a copy with any future sales of blender pens, if you already have a set send me an e-mail and I will send you a hard copy of this recipe card. To recreate with paper, colours are Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Cherry Cobbler (new and I LOVE), Daffodil Delight (new too!) and Early Espresso (really really love this one!) I added some brads as bullets for the ingredients and also for the vanilla Hodge podge hardware. Thanks for stopping by!

It's Here!
Well this is a little late (hard to believe isn't it?!) but the new catalogue is out...and I LOVE it! This is a card I made using the Hostess Level 1 set, Because I Care. As soon as I saw it in the book I wanted it, and normally I'm not a huge fan of the level 1 sets! But this one I love and am looking forward to making many cards with. The greeting is from the stamp set Heard from the Heart. Colours are: the new Early Espresso (LOVE - thought it was too similar to Chocolate Chip at first - but it's not!) Regal Rose, Old Olive and Rose Red. Papers are Very Vanilla, Regal Rose, and Early Espresso. I first stamped the flower with Early Espresso. Then I used my Stampin'Write Regal Rose marker to colour in the flower. I used my blender pen to colour in the leaves as it gives it a softer touch and looks a little more real. I edged the Very Vanilla with Early Espresso as well, and mounted it on Early Espresso cardstock. The greeting is done with Early Espresso and Rose Red markers. Edges of the card are also distressed with Early Espresso. I used the Big Shot and the Elegant Bouquet Impressions folder and then sanded the flowers to make them stand out a little more. I also distressed the edges of the Regal Rose cardstock with Early Espresso (what can I say, I got a little crazy!) To finish off, you can just see a little of the inside of the card, I stamped another flower with Early Espresso to dress up the inside. If you would like to earn this stamp for free, e-mail me at stampaholicsteph@gmail.com to find out how!

Happy Birthday Kayla!
Happy Birthday to my little one who turns 2 today...my how time flies! And since time flies so fast, this is also another page brought to you by My Digital Studio! If there's anyone out there who's looking for a faster way of creatively keeping those memories, this is for you! I do still love to get together with everyone to scrapbook, but I am loving how easy it is to make these pages. And to top it all off, this was another FREE template that came with the MDS software, how cool is that?
For anyone wanting to re-create this, it uses the Sunny Day kit (now retired) but the colors are Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Pink Passion (which I would substitute with Melon Mambo as the Pink Passion is now retired as well)
Hope everyone had a wonderful Canada Day and have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

I'm Back :)
Hello All! Well I made it back safe and sound from the great city of Timmins. 14 1/2 hours in our truck and we all survived! Needless to say, I have not had a chance to create anything, and am having withdrawals! so I quickly did up this page on MDS using another template from their Sunny Days kit...pretty cute eh? These are my two munchkins posing for daddy on a rock in North Bay. There's a park near his Aunt's house so we went there for some play time after supper. We were lucky enough to see a little doe on our way back.
On another note...if you came to my scrapbook class of the 4 layouts, I'll be posting those pages shortly in case you needed to have a peek at them to finish up. Also, I catalogues are on their way and should be here in the next 10 days. And lastly, for anyone interested I'm having a Scrapbook day Saturday August 21 from 9-9 at the Glencoe Legion. $15.00 per person, e-mail me for details at stampaholicsteph@gmail.com. Have a good one and thanks for stopping by! Steph

Very Thankful -#3
Hello! How do you like my new look? Once again I must say I learned so much from my MDS (My Digital Studio) class on Tuesday, thanks again to Heather Summer, you're amazing! I have been trying to create my own blog header for quite some time now, and now I know! On to today's post and sorry it's another dark photo. Reno is almost done, just have to put the new flooring in, I will then have a nice well lit place for my pics! So here's yet another sample of what you can make with the Very Thankful set. This time I stamped using Black staz-on and coloured using chalks and blender pens. Paper is Kraft, Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Whisper White. DSP is from the Sweet Pea set and Welcome Neighbour SAB. Hope you like this one too! Steph

Bonus MDS Post!
Hello again! So here it is...my MDS page, and yes I just made it, so in 20minutes I have created a beautiful scrapbook page! I really have to admit again I wasn't a fan of the whole digital scrapbook thing, but now that I have it I absolutely love it! I just might be able to get caught up on some scrapbooking! I used the Sunny Day custom page that comes with the MDS along with many other amazing features. I encourage you all to try it and see how you like it! Have a good night and thanks for stopping by! Steph
Very Thankful - #2
Hello all! Have had an amazing couple of days! Monday night I met a new group of ladies who were a complete blast...thanks again for having me! We each made 3 cards and they are now my newest club members - yeah! And yesterday I was able to attend a great class on My Digital Studio, put on by Heather Summers - it was wonderful! I learned so much and will try and post an MDS page later. Onto today's project, here's another sample using the Very Thankful set. Colours are Kraft, Rich Razzleberry (so glad this colour is staying!), and Old Olive. I also used the Fine Flourish background stamp to add a little more design to it. The DSP is Cottage Wall - again you need to order this by June 30th as it will no longer be available. To stamp the Thanks So Much I used markers so that I could get both the Olive and Razzleberry on, very simple! Before I go I just have send another shout out to my mom and sister for always lending a hand when I need it, and to my friend my Mel who's always helping me grow my business. My sister is also my Pampered Chef consultant and Mel's also my Epicure Consultant, will have their info up on my sidebar shortly, please contact them if you are in need of some kitchen inspiration! Have a great day, Steph

Very Thankful
Good afternoon everyone. Long time no post, I know! We're in the middle of transforming our home office into a portrait studio...so time has been more scarce than usual. I;m hoping once the reno is done, hubby will show me a few tricks on the new camera. I love the clarity of it, but am finding it hard to get the right lighting..so I am still learning. on with today's card...this is from the Very Thankful set which donates $2.00 from every set sold to the Ronald McDonald House Charity. This is a great organization which helps family's to stay close to their little ones when care is required at the hospital. It offers affordable accommodations for all and helps to ease a very stressful time. Paper is Kraft, Whisper White, Rose Red, Taken with Teal DSP and Old Olive. I stamped the little boy a few times using stamp-a-ma-jig and coloured them in using markers. I used the Scallop Border Trim punch for the Old Olive cardstock and also added a bow using 1/4" Old Olive ribbon. Hope you like! This set is retiring so if you would like one for yourself you'll need to order before June 30th...you can order online at www.stampaholicsteph.stampinup.net , I'll have a couple more samples using this set to post later this week.
Take care and thanks for stopping by. Steph

May Club Night
Evening everyone! Just finished up a great night of card making with my mom and friend Amanda (thanks for coming ladies!) Here's a pic of the page we did for last month's Club night. We used Very Vanilla 12x12, Taken with Teal 4x11 and various pieces of Basic Black to mat the photo and greetings. This is another pic I should've had hubby do as it is a little dark. I hope you can see the detail in the butterflies. They are stamped using an old hostess set, God's Beauty. To get the nice coloured effect, stamp first with a lighter colour like Sahara Sand. Chalk the colours you want to use onto the image and once coloured, re-stamp the butterfly using Stamp-a-ma-jig and Basic Black...VOILA! You can even cut them out to make them pop out a little more. We also played around with the wheels, we used the So Swirly Jumbo wheel and Romance Standard wheel. I'm really lovin the wheels as it's a really cheap way to make your own DSP! Have a good week-end and thanks for stopping by! Steph

ELM Open House
Another post! So I've been busy again and this time for Hannah and Kayla's daycare, ELM Children's Centre. My sister, mom and I have been making cards like crazy for the Open House tomorrow (come out and see us!) so we can raise money for the Centre. Mother's Day cards are $2.00 each and the card packs are $12.00 each with 1/2 of ALL sales going to the daycare. There will also be Pampered Chef, Epicure, Mary Kay, Tupperware, Avon and SheShe there, will be everything a mother could want under one roof!
Happy Mothers Day Albums
Good evening everyone! Here's a couple albums I made up in preparation for Mother's Day. We actually did the top one for Club night in April and had lots of fun. Colours are Regal Rose, Rose Red, and Chocolate Chip. DSP is the Sweet Pea out of the mini (sorry no longer available). Measurements are: Regal Rose 6 1/4, Rose Red 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, and DSP 4 x 5 1/4 (this way you can use 1/3 of the paper, less waste!) the band is 1 1/2 x 5 and I used a wheel (but can't remember which) to give it some colour. The flower is from the Vintage Vogue set and I used a strip of Chocolate Chip and punched with the Scallop Trim punch, The greeting is from the Well Scripted set and I used the Circle Scallop and Big Shot to do the flap. Stuck on some velcro and voila! Below is an album I made at a workshop, that's where this idea came from, I just spruced it up a little! Have a WONDERFUL MOTHER'S DAY!

Sneek Peek :)
Hello All! Long time no post, I know! Sorry these pics are a little dark, should've used my flash. We were crazy busy with preparing for the Sarnia wedding show (which was awesome, thanks to all the Brides for stopping by our booth, and a special thanks to my mom for looking after the little ones so both Aaron and I could be there!) I am working on building an invitation page on my blog but am meeting some challenges, so for the time being I thought I would post a sample invite that I made using a stamp set that will be featured in the new catalogue. This one is called "Awash with Flowers", and as I've said many times I know...I wasn't crazy about it when I saw it but now that I've used it... I LOVE IT!! And you may notice that I have used a couple colours that I have been missing for almost a year now...Pacific Point and Baja Breeze, my wish came true and Baja is returning! (Not happy about losing Taken with Teal though :( but I guess we can't have it all! Hope you like and if you know of anyone interested in learning how to make their own invites or wanting them made, send me an e-mail! Happy Monday all! Steph

Congrats Dionne and Courtney!
Well I did it, I bit the bullet and purchsed MDS (My Digital Studio) and I hate to say it but again... I LOVE IT! I was very reluctant to buy this because I love to scrapbook, not only for the creative aspect but for the social aspect too, and well it's not as easy to gather friends around computers and digitally scrapbook! However...as some of you know, my husband has started into photography and has been lucky enough to take a few pics at various friends weddings. Last week-end we were in Toronto for our friend Dionne and Courtney's wedding. So, because scrapbooking and photgraphy go hand in hand, my hubby and I have teamed up - he takes the pics and I make the album! Let me know what you think, this is the front page for the album, simple but elegant I think!
Will be back soon with more from MDS!

To the Wonderful Ladies at E.L.M.!
So today's post is a picture of something I just whipped up, literally, just made some nice little bags of cookies and chocolate eggs for the amazing women who take care of my little ones while I'm at work. (I'll admit I had a little help from Pilsbury..but I did the rest myself). I knew I wanted to do something but wasn't sure what, so I decided to make cookies and then wanted to use some scraps up. I had some precut Top Notes from last year's sale-a-bration paper, and also some ribbon left from last years sale-a-bration, so I went with that. I used the Oval die with the Big Shot and also used the wide oval punch to punch out "Happy Easter" using the Well Scripted set out of the mini. This took me from start to finish (once cookies had cooled), 45minutes, would've been much faster if I had planned it the night before, but still not bad for a nights work! See how quickly hand made gifts can be made! I think I might venture into making some wedding favours. Anywho, a big shout out to the women at E.L.M., you make my days at work alot easier knowing my little ones are happy as can be! Happy Easter!

Congrats Kim and Ryan!
Good evening all! Hope you all are having a good week-end. Aaron and I had a wonderful time at one of my best friends's wedding, Kim and Ryan. So being the card maker that I am, I made this little card for them. I used Fifth Ave. Floral (of course!), and the greeting is from the Well Scripted set in the Occaisions mini. Colours are Very Vanilla, Cameo Coral, and Chocolate Chip. Simple yet elegant don't you think? Have a good evening and thanks for stopping by! Steph

Bunny Family
Good afternoon all! Here is my little bunny family - aren't they adorable! I can't take all the credit, I saw the original on a site I like to visit and so I did one first using Chocolate Chip...I like him but thought he was a little dark...so I made one with Sahara Sand...then thought well these guys need one more friend...so I made one with Close to Cocoa, and voila, my little family. The bodies are made using 2 Top Note Dies, ears are the Wide Oval and Large Oval punches, feet are the Wide Oval Punch, nose is the Heart Trio punch and various circle punches for the eyes, mouth and spots on feed. I sponged all the edges to give them a little more depth and then put a little bow on one ear. Filled with dollar store Easter basket filler stuff (have no idea what this stuff is really called) and then filled with chocolate eggs. Nice little gifts for teachers and co-workers don't you think? Have a great Friday!

Winter Blues Event
Hello all! This is a pic of a card that was on display
at a Stampin'Up! event I went to in February.
So it is not one I made and so I cannot take credit for it, but I wanted to share it with you all as I think it's a great example of how versatile the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set it is. I've even used it for wedding invitations! I love the scallop punch they used around the edges of the white cardstock. It has taken a bit of pracitce but I too have been able to make the scallop edge around some rectangles and squares. If you have these punches and would like to learn how, please visit this very talented Stampin'Up! lady's site, I have the link at the bottom of this post. And the ribbon butterflies, how cute! Colours are Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry, and the Happy Birthday is from the Well Scripted stamp set in the current Occaisions Mini.
Thanks for stopping by!

Oma's Garden
Good evening all. Hope you were able to get out and enjoy this wonderful weather today. Had a great day today, blueberry pancakes with Grandpa and Oma, and then a nice long hike and supper at Grandpa Steve-o's (that's what my kids call my dad). Today's post is another layout I did with the Sweet Pea DSP. It's not one for the class coming up though, I'm working on those, they'll have a little more detail to them. This one is fairly simple but I find the paper is so nice you don't need much to finish the page off. Colours are So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Taken with Teal, Regal Rose and Old Olive. The butterflies again are from the hostess set God's Beauty (retired, sorry!). If you like this, make sure you sign up for the class in May...if you already have a package of Sweet Pea DSP, the class is only $12.00 for 4 pages (2 double layouts). Take care and thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Peas!
Good evening everyone! Isn't this weather wonderful - I am ready to get into my garden, but still have lots of scrapbooking on my mind - dilemas! Today's post is a double page layout I did using the DSP from the Sweet Pea package in the Occaisions Mini catalogue. It's a great deal, and awesome colours. I also used a flower and half back pearl on each page from the Pretties kit, I really like these embellishments. To finish it off I stamped some butterflies using last years hostess set "God's Beauty", a set I think I'll hang onto even though it's retired, it goes well with so many things. I'll be posting information on a scrapbook
class I'll be having in May for National Scrapbooking month, the class will feature layouts like this using the Sweet Pea paper, stay tuned for details! Enjoy the sunshine and have a great week-end! Steph

Sale-a-brate!
Good afternoon all! Here's the page we did for our Club night Friday, featuring some really cool sale-a-bration products. We used mostly in-colours; Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede, Melon Mambo, and Sale-a-bration DSP. The large flowe is from the Pretties kit and I used a build-a-brad for the centre (love these!) I used the large oval punch to punch out the word and definition "simple" from the Define Your Life" set, and lastly, I used my brand new Timeless Type Stampin'Up! alphabet for my Big Shot (love this too!) Under the title we punched a piece of cardstock using the Scallop Trim border punch which is also a sale-a-bration product...so hurry and get your orders in to take advantage of this really cool deal - buy $65.00 in Stampin'Up! product and receive a free set or punch out of the sale-a-bration catalogue. Order on-line if you wish at http://stampaholicsteph.stampinup.net/
Sale-a-bration ends March 31st, contact me today!
Thanks for stopping by, Steph

Thoughts and Prayers
I just love this set! It's so versatile. You can use it for Get Well cards, Sympathy Cards, and yes I have even used it for a wedding invitation! Here's a simple Thinking of you card. Colours are Kraft, Vanilla, Chocolate Chip. I used a makeup applicator and sponged ink from ink pads to make the sky and grass, colours were bashful blue, sahara sand, old olive, and garden green. To finish it off I ran a piece of chocolate chip through the crimper as I was out of chip ribbon. Voila! Thanks for stopping by!
